Regarding the latest election—I know I’m a little behind on this, as far as the blogosphere goes, but I’d just like to reiterate what I and the rest of the country are thinking, and sum up how it feels:

Fuck. Yes.

I’ve been listening a lot lately to Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come” (the Otis Redding version is pretty great, too) and can’t help but think, “Well, Sam, you weren’t alive to see it, but you were right, and it has.” To borrow from Craig Finn, it’s a pretty good feeling, yeah, it feels pretty good.

The video you’re about to see, leave a comment on and assign an exceedingly high star rating combines the two best things America has going for it right now—in fact, the very two things on which I would sell someone if asked to make a case for why America’s great: Barry Obama, and Bacon.
